Yard Boys Outing take us on a journey in the new single “To the Far Shoals of the South,” a laidback reflective track comprising sombre sample flips, soft tones, and a vocal sample from a song with lyrics by G. Pozhenyan and music by M. Tariverdiev over chilled drum grooves. The track samples Soviet music. “To the Far Shoals of the South” is taken from their new EP, Soviet Tradition.

Swiss producer Toifoi delivers a smooth summer vibe on his new release “Perrito”. The mid-tempo jam is ripe with rich warm textures, soft airy horns and a head nodding drum grooves to complete the job.

The producer sleeping with shoes on gives us some real “Reasons” for his new effort. The chilled lofi-soul track has a mellow chord progression, dreamy sound design, and soft drum grooves to create a comforting and relaxing ambiance in which audiences can bask.
deepsleeper – “early days”
deepsleeper takes us to the “early days” in his newest release. The track has a warm, nostalgic feel of a time in the past and the good memories that come with it. The first iteration of the beat was crafted in 2017 but didnt’ get finished until recently and I must add, it definitely sounds like it was made last night.
itsokaylove – “What Is This Feeling?”
itsokaylove made their debut foray into our weekend instrumental playlist with “What Is This Feeling?”. The solemn track starts with a sad guitar riff and slowly builds with mellow drum grooves and a subtle bassline to match.
Peter Anderson – “Cascading”
Peter Anderson enters our playlist with “Cascading”, a soul-hop, lofi-infused track that is uplifting and groovy. The textures have an atmospheric aesthetic and the progression keeps the dynamics going till the end.
Jonny Alias – “Rainy Days”
Jonny Alias and Tony Anderson‘s newest collaboration “Rainy Days” taps into the solemnity of a cold rainy day when everything is slow and the mind wanders into nostalgia and reflection.
SBLofi – “Stargaze”
SBLofi takes us into the skies on “Stargaze”, an atmospheric lofi piece made up of soft vocal hums, rich piano licks and rumbling percussions.
Jikuru – “Reflections”.
Austrian producer Jikuru and fellow producer Lola team up for this aptly titled beat “Reflections”. The layered production is brilliant and the warm pads all come together like white on rice.
Flapjaques – “it never lasts”
Flapjaques and the good folks at Chill Moon Music release “it never lasts”. The track is as solemn as a cloudy sky with its moody strings, slick acoustic guitar riffs and soft grooves.
Instant Soda – “Gallery Afternoon”
Instant Soda‘s “Gallery Afternoon” has a laidback, ambience that evokes breezy afternoons during lunch hour with the sun shining bright. This might be a bit specific but think about it.
Pevanni x escapist. – “run with the wolves”
Pevanni and escapist‘s new collaboration “run with the wolves” is a nostalgia-inducing lofi piece comprising mellow guitar riffs, a plucky sound design that tap into the human emotion.
Yuzostate – “Flova”
Yuzostate and Lofi Trumpet drop some smooth “Flova” for us to rock with. The horn-driven piece has a blend of lofi-soul with jazz-hop sensibilities that come together like night and day. A solid one for your lofi playlist for sure.
LoFi Chick – “Sad Face”.
LoFi Chick brings us the audio version of the “Sad Face” in this new release. The production is heartwarming, and reflective and makes one think deeply about life.
DertyLee – “Coffee Break”
DertyLee offers us a much-needed “Coffee Break” on the playlist. The track has layered textures, rich piano progressions and an overall dynamic arrangement that is engaging from start to finish.
Lopht – “The Keeper”
Lopht is a staple on our weekly instrumental playlist and this new release “The Keeper” is a testament to his production prowess. He crafts a chilled, soulful piece that is laced with layered textures, warm strings and bright guitar licks that oozes nostalgia from top to bottom.
