Brandon Powell and Earl Keido tap into the summer city vibe in their latest collaboration, “Juice.” The track starts with a new report and sounds of children playing in the background. which progresses into a retro jazz/lofi piece with sublime textures, scratching and a punchy drum groove to complete the job. Music producer Aunt serves “Coffee Cream” in their new release. The track has a soft, mellow tone with snapping drums and a wobbly bassline underpinned by airy horn passes. “5 Days” is a relaxing cut from prolific producer Chill4est, who taps into nostalgia and emotional moments. From airy and atmospheric textures, slick guitar licks and soft drums, the producer creates a soul-stirring ambiance that is perfect for your study playlist. “Glass Flowers” is a collaborative track brought to us by Jonny Alias, Ookia and Joy Beats, who teamed up to craft a piece that is solemn and blissful. DertyLee‘s “Dull Day” is a reflective tune that comprises ethereal pads, soft keys and rich guitar licks, while Canadian producer Bon Echo unveils his brand of sleepy lo-fi music in “Mirror,” a mellow guitar-driven piece that evokes introspection at its highest.
British music producer Willis. wakes our spirits up with “Morning Yawning,” a bouncy lofi-soul/hip-hop infused cut comprising rich synths, atmospheric strings and a punchy drum groove. Lofi Seoul brings a little “Introspection” to the playlist with this laidback and reflective cut that soothes the ears. Swiss producer Maadrhino and koalev join forces to bring us “praise the sun,” an uplifting cut that is blissful and hopeful.
El. Train connects with Paal Singh to craft “Lucid Dreaming,” a futuristic jazz/soul track that is reminiscent of Kaytranada. The production is layered, progressive, and hypnotic all at once. The track is the second single from Trinkets, a collaborative beat tape from El. Train and Paal Singh. ODYSSEE and Gatz2Gatz come through with “Celeno,” a scenic lofi cut led by rich guitar riffs and airy atmospheric textures.
“Jazz Crimes” were intentionally committed by Laranah Phipps and La Funkalicious in this audacious jazz/soul/funk gathering. From triumphant horns, funky and rumbunctious grooves, dynamic chord progressions and lively vocal scats to rouse the audiences. The track packs a lot of energy and the fun of a live band that knows its assignment. Pepe Carvalho and Mike Nava are working on a collaborative instrumental album titled Foxfire, and in the interim, they share the lead single and title track for audiences to digest. The track blends modern lofi-soul with a bit of choppy jazz riffs and glitchy effects that add an offbeat touch to it. Argentine producer Gianni teamed up with Spanish producer Beteulan for “Fellas.” The track highlights the duo’s unique musical approach, which fuses ethereal jazz horns, muddy piano riffs that evoke sadness, and soft drum grooves that drive the track. Overall, it’s a reflective piece perfect for your study or meditating playlist. Multi-talented music producer/writer/director Steve Nguyen returns to our playlist with a brand new release titled “Nothing Sacred.” The record features a mix of jazz elements with modern lofi sensibilities, comprising layered pads, lush guitar licks and soul-stirring horns underpinned by a punchy drum groove.
