Buffalo, NY-based rapper Jezeb is a rising indie rapper whose new single “Chronophobia” caught our attention. The record has a solemn and sorrowful aesthetic made up of sad strings, warm basslines, pads and soft drums that form the backdrop for his insightful and introspective raps. His flow is measured, relaxed and quite engaging as he takes us through the passage of time from his own perspective and then some. Lyrics like “But still I carry pounds, okay maybe only ounces/ Might just burn some down to make the clock fly by, Nah… I most certainly will/ While I wait here for my moment like a spoke in the wheel” give listeners an unfiltered glimpse into his mind and we truly get to see the true him.

The song comes with a befitting visual that is stylistically shot with a drone and it follows the rapper across the green plains as he enjoys the natural beauty as time passes him by.
