Zambian veteran emcee Holstar is back on his grizzly with this anthemic joint titled “Awakening (New Boma)” featuring Jay Rox and Tiye-P. The cut is a reemergence of some sorts for Holstar as he champions the importance of taking the art to a higher level. Blending English and Swahili, we get to hear different perspectives from both Holstar and Tiye-P while Jay Rox delivers the chorus.

Holstar Presents his first single of 2015 “The Awakening (New Boma)” Featuring Jay Rox and Tiye-P; Produced by UK Based Nigel. The Awakening is Holstar’s call to arms for all Zambian Hip Hop soldiers to Rise up and not be afraid to show their skill and be heard! This also marks the first time Holstar has worked with one of Zambia’s most active and respected Emcees ‘Tiye-P’ – Jay Rox added his magic touch to the hook to create a Zambian Hip Hop kaleidoscope.

This is a prelude to Holstar’s  Joint EP with Rocbeats ‘Beast Meets A Problem’ that will be released later in 2015.
