The Dysfunktional Family is based out of Athens, Ohio. Pretty refreshing for the area as more watered down hip-hop acts have emerged over the past decade or so. The Dysfunktional Family is made up of Hil and Shwartz who write and producer there own beats. They are the definition of making hip-hop for the love of the art. Together since 2000, The Dysfunktional Family have been honing their skills as lyricists together in various basements and bedrooms. Going through many musical hardships, Hil and Schwartz have recorded 7 albums since being together, but only 4 have ever seen the light of day.
