Indiana-born, L.A-based rapper Conrad Jon recently put out his new EP Griffey Swing and has some songs to share with us in the form of “Big Bad Wolf”, “Featherbeds & Silk Sheets” and “Suburban Disturbance”. The songs are self-produced and engineered by the rapper himself.

“Big Bad Wolf is the first track of his EP and it sets the tone with its anthemic vibe, bouncy drum groove and a catchy chorus and playful lyrical style that sees him flexing his verbal prowess to the fullest.

“Featherbeds & Silk Sheets” is a reflective track that sees Conrad in a retrospective mood as he takes us back in time to when he just moved to LA and the many struggles he had to overcome to fully chase his dreams. From being broke, depressed and lacking motivation, he gives us a candid account of the turbulent times and how he overcame it all by finding his true North.

The final track we have is “Suburban Disturbance”, a bouncy track ripe with moody and cinematic textures that fit his off-kilter rap style and knack for peening vivid lines that everyone can rock to.
