Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This is a segment where we will be looking at some exceptional visuals from various acts from around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades and through the 90s and 2000s, it has taken flight from multi-million budget music videos, to mid to low-budget videos with exceptional features. In this section, we will not discriminate but rather highlight some of the creative visuals that pop up on our radar.
Again, we promise to bring you the best from high to low budget, to animated to DIY and first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

Wild East Radio – “Noise Complaints”.
Brooklyn-based trio Wild East Radio make their appearance on our video playlist with “Noise Complaints”, a hard-hitting, no-holds-barred track ripe with off-kilter and unapologetic raps. The production is experimental, playful and bouncy which is a testament to the trio’s refreshing musical style. The visual also taps into their style with an eye-popping performance style-driven set piece.
Wild East Radio – “S!CK”
Wild East Radio‘s second video “S!CK” is a scenic and engaging visual that takes audiences across the different parts of their hometown of NY. From the dark gritty subways, and homely corner stores to the ever-busy streets filled with hustle and bustle to the breezy ferry rides. The trio bring outsiders close to the action with their unapologetic bravado raps and expressive flows on this one.
DJ Heron – “You Lose I Win” ft. Wrekonize
In the new episode of House Of Heron helmed by DJ Heron, he teams up with rapper Wrekonize for “You Lose I Win“. The episode is introduced by a recap of Wrekonize’s past antecedents, from his MTV MC battle days to building his fanbase as the frontman of ¡Mayday! As per every episode, the House Of Heron begins with a blindfold record pull from Heron’s collection, after which the duo cook up a beat and lyrics on the spot. The resulting track “You Lose I Win”, a smooth string-driven beat underpinned by Wrekonize’s complex rhyme schemes and expressive flows.
Poindexter – “Zeitgeist”.
Poindexter steps boldly into the “Zeitgeist” in his latest release. The track produced by TeeWatt has a plucky and soulful backdrop that fits the rapper’s nonchalant and playful flow and off-kilter rap schemes. The song comes with a visual directed by J Shootin and Poindexter and together they create a scenic and dynamic visual blending subtle special effects with energetic performance shots of the rapper.
Ghostface Killah – “Pair Of Hammers” ft. Method Man
The legendary Ghostface Killah drops the visuals for “Pair Of Hammers” featuring his fellow Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man. The aptly titled track is ripe with an ominous texture, driving stabs and a crunchy drum groove that helps create the perfect ambiance for the legendary duo to flex their verbal biceps. The accompanying video, directed by Rock Davis is a spectacle of sorts and viewers can thrown into a blend of mystical, uncensored and off-kilter set pieces. The legendary collaboration is a highlight from Ghostface’s critically acclaimed Set The Tone album, his first full-length project in five years.
Yaron – “Break the Cycles”.
Philadelphia, PA artist Yaron proceeded to “Break the Cycles” in his latest release. The track is bolstered by an atmospheric and surreal soundscape made up of exotic bell-like instruments with a sublime vibe. Here, Yaron dives into the concept of breaking the cycle of generational trauma and gives his candid opinions with a touch of introspection.
Tilden Parc – “LOA”.
Emerging rapper Tilden Parc helped close out this week’s video playlist with “LOA(Law of Attraction)”, a hard-hitting bass-heavy track. Here, Tilden talks about being resourceful and manifesting the life he wants for himself and others around him. This is the perfect aspirational anthem we all need right now.
