Rising artist/songwriter/producer Tilden Parc is preparing to release his new indie project but in the interim, he shares two singles “SAFE” and “RIGHT NOW”.
“SAFE” sees Tilden penning a message to a higher power as he searches for the meaning of life and if he is on the right path. Armed with his distinct expressive flow and poignant introspective lyrics, he takes listeners on a journey that is relatable in many ways.
“RIGHT NOW” is a reflective piece comprising woozy and solemn textures with punchy drums and thick basslines. Here, Tilden runs through his experiences and the many characters that help add colour to it. From fairweather and trusted friends and families to his misconceptions, struggles and realizations of the truth, Tilden pours it all on wax with lines like
“Like who am I to be intimidating
Guess we can’t all chosen one it’s levels to greatness
Don’t call it talent Im been balanced I been consistent working
Two jobs to skate by on rent I paid to live in the attic
in San Jose it was me a mic and a broken mattress with bad habits of day dreaming in class pictured me cash stashing“
“RIGHT NOW” is the last single off of Tilden’s first independent album coming September 20th called Concrete Flower Child.
