UK singer/songwriter Andriah Arrindell caught our ears with “80/20 Rule,” a groovy dance-soul piece that is soul-stirring and club ready. 2wiin Kingz – “Forget”

2wiin Kingz pay homage to the African roots with their latest tune “Forget.” The track samples a cinematic guitar lick that evokes urgecy and sess the rappers threading African and black cultures and the tumultous history behind them. The release was used to celebrate Juneteenth.

Fly Boi Willie – “Amen”

East Texas town of Carthage-based rapper/songwriter Fly Boi Willie enters our playlist with “Amen,” a celebratory and hopeful tune that explores his journey through this thing called life. Over a solemn vocal sample-driven backdrop, he reflects on his trials, tribulations and wins and how grateful he is to still be here.
