Que K returns with another single “Will i love again – 2024 Master” and its an update on the previous version. The production is moody and dark and perfect for Que K’s engaging songwriting.

 

 

Trio Aka PROFIT – “OHTANI”.

Chicago-based rapper/songwriter Trio aka PROFIT‘s “OHTANI” is a reflective piece that explores some issues that concern the rapper. The production is soulful and nostalgic and Trio’s lyrical style is vivid and layered. “OHTANI” is taken from his 11-track project BOOM…NEXT THING YOU KNOW.

 

King Kaiju – “Movin”.

 

Richmond, Virginia-raised King Kaiju teams up with CJ profit for “Movin.” The downtempo track has elements of the Midwest 90s sound with a modern twist.

 

Habló Pablo – “Nunca se trató del resultado”.

Habló Pablo delivers this thoughtful and reflective track “Nunca se trató del resultado” for this week’s playlist. The title means “It was never about the result” and sees Pablo dropping some insightful rhymes over a dark cinematic soundscape.

Nec NymblSankofa , P-Ro and Act-1 deliver this hard-hitting posse cut “Pass da Mic.” Backed by Nec Nymbl’s scenic soundscape, the trio of rappers trade fiery bars from start to finish. “Pass da Mic” is the 2nd single for the new album by Sankofa & Nec Nymbl.

 

King Kody – “I WILL”.

Netherlands-based rapper King Kody enters this week’s playlist with “I WILL”.

 

 

Sofia Eleni – “Just The Two Of Us (Bill Withers Cover)”.

 

Singer, Songwriter/Broadway performer Sofia Eleni caught our ears with her cover of Bill Withers‘ classic song “Just The Two Of Us.” The modern version has elements of the original and retains it’s soul elements with some rhythmic tweaks and of course Sofia Eleni’s rich melodic runs that evokes raw emotions.

Sorvina and jakohitsdifferent uplift our spirits with their new collaboration “Heaven Come To Earth.” The track is a blend of hip-hop, Gospel and inspirational elements and is ripe with rich melodic textures and lyrics centered on gratitude and reflection.

 

MC Paul Barman – “Blessings”.

Eclectic lyricist/songwriter MC Paul Barman returns with a new single “Blessings,” which sees the veteran emcee step fully into the role of a father. Over the sparse and somewhat solemn backdrop provided by multi-faceted producer/musician Glen Brady, MC Paul Barman pens an open letter to his youngest son. He shares with him his experiences and lessons that would help him along the way.

Lucid, Mavo and trees deliver a fiery no-holds-barred track titled “Steady.” Over a dark and gritty soundscape, the emcees show up with their A-game.

 

James Gardin – “When The Family’s Together”

James Gardin taps into the holiday season with “When The Family’s Together.” The Christmas-spirit is high on the track as Gardin gives the audience the true definition of family in the season. He is also joined by singer Melissa Carter who adds a smooth melodic touch to the track.

Assembly Sounds and Brad team up for “Kind Warrior,” a thoughtful track that centers around self-purpose and mindfulness.

 

Que K – “Love Unconditionally”.

Que K and Love Jones team up for “Love Unconditionally,” a heartfelt track exploring the dynamics of love and the work needed to fuel love.
