Kyle Quentin & The Kyles is a musical project and brainchild of former DJ and designer from Switzerland who was also one half of the locally semi-famous electronic DJ duo The Bukkake Boys Gang in the 2010s. The project involves experimental soundscapes that take inspiration from different sources. The latest release titled “Cold War Lounge” is a moody and somewhat minimalistic piece that takes jazz aesthetics with lofi and cinematic spy themes and presents it in a whole new manner. From the layered textures, rich chords and downtempo grooves, listeners get a taste of the old and new in a single breath.
