London-based musician Cherie Jones-Mattis AKA JONES  shares a new single “Darkest Part” which comes on the heels of her previous release “Star.” The song sees her teaming up with producer Benny Sings and the result is an introspective and poignant dive into the deepest parts of the human experience as it pertains to love and finding one’s true purpose. The production is warm and soulful and bolstered by bright keys, lush guitar licks with a smooth drum grove underpinned by JONES’ soul-gripping performance and rich melodic runs. The result is a motivational and uplifting tune that brightens up the listeners and reminds them of the potential they possess as they go through tough times. As the saying goes, tough times never last, tough people do.
