Jak Lizard‘s new release “Callin’ Me” is a heartfelt ode to self-belief and the concept of positive affirmation needed to boost one’s ego and drive to the next level. Bolstered by the guitar-laden backdrop provided by longtime collaborator Brasstracks, Jak Lizard takes listeners through every possible great moment that could happen to an artist in one song. The lyrics are filled with name drops and wishful thinking that everyone could dream of like being hounded by Diddy or selected to start for an NBA team etc. It’s quite relatable as it channels each and everyone’s dreams into one song. The Matthew LeJune directed visual really brings the song to life with its engaging set pieces made up of performance shots and a dressing style concept.
