The duo of NY singer Jak Lizard and production group Brasstracks  share the visuals for their new uplifting single “Somebody Like Me.” The track is an upbeat soulful cut that is ripe with lush jazzy keys, anthemic horns, and vibrant drums that set the perfect canvas for Jak Lizard’s smooth alluring vocals. The record is a solid spirit lifter and delivers a message of positive self-affirmation and hope.

For the visuals, they team up with Anarene who gives it a whole new life with a Sesame Street meets Mr. Rogers aesthetics. We get to meet the wonderful folks on Jak Lizard’s block including some hearty puppets who come alive to infuse love and that wholesome feel-good energy we all need in these crazy times.

“Somebody Like Me” is taken from Jak Lizard’s debut EP Humphrey, which was executive produced by GRAMMY Award-winning group Brasstracks and can be streamed here.
