Indie singer/songwriter Jak Lizard shares with us his unique take on soul/jazz vibes on his new single titled “Quality Of Life”. Jak’s world is a vibrant kaleidoscope of sounds, shapes, colors, and words to match his exuberant stage presence and genre-hopping sound. “Quality Of Life” is a solid blend of jazz, soul, and hip-hop laced with some Gospel elements. The singer delivers a heartfelt performance that carries the listener all the way through with its edgy vibe and profound lyrics.

Currently putting the finishing touches on his self-titled debut EP, Jak Lizard made his Spotify & Apple Music debut earlier this year with his track, “Sisters (ft. Yoh the Shaolin)” (co-produced by Grammy-winner Ivan Jackson of Brasstracks), which was followed up by his recently debuted single “Mrs. J”. In addition to selling out Rockwood Music Hall and the Triad Theater for his “Sisters” and “Mrs. J” release shows, Jak and his live band have performed at venues all over New York City including Knitting Factory, Mercury Lounge, Haverfest, and the intimate locales of SoFar Sounds as well as shows throughout the northeast and in Los Angeles – sharing bills with artists such as Jamila Wood and Bishop Nehru. With collaborations with the likes of GRAMMY-winners Brasstracks, Alexander Lewis, S’natra, Ben Lusher (of Thirdstory), BXRBER and more on the way Jak is getting better daily and is primed for an exciting finish to 2018, and beyond.
