Experimental music duo Inspired Flight (made up of Gabe Lehner (aka 9 Theory) and Eric Poline (aka OpenOptics)), returns to our site with their new single “The Next Phase”. The aptly titled record is as musical as it gets and shows the musical progression the duo is venturing into. The production is sombre, reflective and chilled while the layered instrumentation is well-crafted allowing the vocals to shine through. Joining the duo are singer/songwriter Sophie Barker of Zero 7 and veteran rapper Talib Kweli  who helps add their unique voices to the mix. From the solemn melodic runs and insightful lyrics that aim to uplift our souls and push us to take the horns of the proverbial bull to Talib’s vivid lyricism, listeners will be inspired to take that leap of faith.
