Brooklyn Funk Essentials are back with visuals for “How Happy.” The video features Alison Limerick, Brooklyn Funk Essentials founder & and bassist Lati Kronlund, as well as the entire group’s lineup which includes singer/guitarist/co-writer Desmond Foster, Hux Flux on drums, Kristoffer Wallman on keys, and Ebba Asmon on trombone and vocals.

The aesthetic is simply vibing out in the studio creating magic for this disco/funk R&B record. The song brings it back to when you have your eye on someone and then get to meet them. The rush off stomach flutters along with painted fantasies take over.

“How Happy” begins with infectious keys with funky horns and striking bass to follow with the sounds of the electric guitar to heighten the mood.

Watching the video, getting lost in the emotive vocals, and the kaleidoscope of ear-pleasing funk makes it nearly impossible not to get up and groove along. Watch “How Happy” for an incredible eargasm experience.
