Body Bag Ben and Rick Hyde have teamed up for a collaborative project EP, Hyde The Body Bag, but in the meantime, they share the cryptic visuals for the lead single titled “Voodoo.” The track is produced by ben who crafts a chilling, ominous beat that fits the duo’s off-kilter lyrics.

Hailing from Oxnard, CA and Buffalo, NY, respectively, BBB and Rick is a natural fit for anyone who’s followed their careers to date—or anyone getting introduced to them on this track. “Voodoo” is the grime-covered encapsulation of what these two bring to the table: provocative and vivid lyricism over creaky, neck-breaking production.

Speaking of the production, it’s all handled by Ben, who’s coming off a string of impressive collaborations of late with the likes of MOP, Chino XL, and Milano Constantine. Rick hasn’t been slouching either; he dropped the impressive Plates 2 on the Way earlier this year with features from fellow Buffalo bruisers Elcamino and Benny The Butcher. But now, the focus is on the soon-coming Hyde The Body Bag, a feature-less release that’s off to one hell of a start with “Voodoo.”

“Voodoo” is available now through all major DSPs, with their collab EP due out this summer!
