Vlad Tz – “Let me”.

Indie rapper Vlad Tz takes time out to unwind with “Let me,” a playful track that finds the emcee taking time out away from the craziness of the world with his preferred vices. The track is a guitar-driven piece with a retro West Coast bounce with vivid storytelling. The visual is quite dark and brooding, with a lot of visual effects that capture the haze following a smoke session with some Henny in the mix.

BNXN x Sarz – “Back Outside”

Nigerian superstar singer/songwriter BNXN and prolific producer Sarz team up for “Back Outside,” a welcome-back single that signals the singer’s new phase after topping the Nigerian music charts with his last album, Captain. The single is a mellow guitar-driven melodious track that sees BNXN returning to his element. Armed with a mellow and unassuming vocal tone, he shares why he was away. From the nonstop hustle to stay in the conversation and the pressure of giving his fans the best of him, BNXN has delivered a brilliant track that echoes the sentiment of a hardworking artist. The visual catalogues BNXN’s life through many lenses, the artist, explorer and the man who has his sights set on success. “Back Outside” marks BNXN’s first release in 290 days since Captain.

Vega Nova – “Wanna Know Pt2”

Emerging artist Vega Nova enters our playlist with “Wanna Know Pt2,” an offbeat track that introduces him to new fans. Over a chiptune-esque backdrop featuring computer blips and scenic synths, the rapper employs an autotune effect to augment his flow, but his songwriting is the icing on the cake. The visual style is performative and captures the rapper in his element.

RYN SCOTT – “Halos”

RYN SCOTT‘s latest release, “Halos” is a self-assessment of the mind of a man who has been through it all. From being world weary, torn down and beaten up but with an inner fire to succeed, he gets up and keeps going. The production by longtime collaborator Jake Bass is anthemic and elevates the urgency in SCOTT’s emotionally powerful voice and insightful songwriting. The visual style has a brooding feel with a focus on RYN SCOTT in a dark space where he clears out the skeletons in his closet with hard truths and accountability.

KhakiKid x Joe Butler – “Shoes Up”

Rising Irish multi-talented rapper/songwriter KhakiKid connects with singer/songwriter Joe Butler for “Shoes Up,” a playful but heartfelt breakup anthem that details the aftermath of moving on. The production continues in the contemporary pop lane with a touch of modern hip-hop and finds KhaKid in his element as he tells listeners how he is in a new phase in his life. This is buttressed by Butler’s alluring hook, which is super catchy. The visual style follows KhaKid during his recent travels and tour stops and shows audiences how life on the road can be. The song is from KhakiKid’s new EP Girl Bites Dog.

Issac Ryan Brown – “Lipstick”.

Emerging singer/songwriter Issac Ryan Brown brings something different to the game with his retro-tinged style that fuses 80s pop, R&B, and future funk. His latest release, “Lipstick,” is a brilliant result of this musical mesh and finds the singer in full performance mode. From the smooth crooning, crescendo-topping chorus with electric guitar riffs, heavy drum fills, to pulsating basslines and lush pads, the singer delivers the ultimate nod to the past with a modern flair. The accompanying visual taps into that same energy, highlighting his performance style and uber energetic aura.

Benny the Butcher & Fuego Base – “Warehouse 4” (feat. OT The Real & Rick Hyde)

Benny The Butcher and Fuego Base are prepping a collaborative project, Ashes In The Safe, along with a 15-minute short film, but in the interim, they share the visuals for “Warehouse 4.” The track is an explosive street banger featuring a cinematic string sample, soulful melodic vocal-driven hook and hard-hitting bars including emcees OT The Real and Rick Hyde. The visuals directed by Todd Uno are as cinematic as they come and take viewers into the mix alongside the usual suspects as they band up for some clandestine activities.
