Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This segment looks at exceptional visuals from various acts around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades, from the 90s and 2000s, and has shifted from multi-million-dollar-budget music videos to mid- to low-budget videos with exceptional production values. In this section, we will not discriminate but highlight some creative visuals that pop up on our radar.

Fatal Lucciauno – “Paisley Roses”.

Sentury – “Don’t Mind”
R&B group Sentury are back in business with their new single “Don’t Mind,” a sultry R&B number that is crafted for the late-night session between lovers. The production is slick and crisp and soulful, while the layered vocals cut through the mix like a hot knife through butter. The accompanying visual blends engaging storyboarding with scenic storytelling that focuses on human connection and pure chemistry.
Hugo A – “Golden 24”.
Emerging singer/songwriter Hugo A reminds us to seize the day in his new single “Golden 24”. The contemporary pop tune has an uplifting feela nd highlights Hug A’s rich melodic style and dynamic range. The video is taken from his live A-Factor performance.
Kosha Dillz – “Hannah Senesh”
Kosha Dillz pays homage to “Hannah Senesh,” a Jewish woman paratrooper in British Palestine who went back to Hungary to save Jews in World War 2. Over a hard-hitting boombap backdrop,Kosha dillz delivers a no-holds-barred performance featuring engaging rhyme schemes and a recurring motif. The visual style highlights the beautiful scenery of the Lower East Side.
Thee Sinseers – “Did Ya Know?”
We close out this week’s playlist with a trip to East Los Angeles, courtesy of Thee Sinseers. The Chicano R&B/Soul band recently put out their new album Love Stories on Colemine Records, and now they return with the visual for the song “Did Ya Know?” The track is a retro-tinged Chicano Soul piece with contemporary R&B and LA-soul vibes. Led by a prominent guitar lick, anthemic horns and a steady groove, underpinned by smooth, high-pitched lead vocals, the track delivers the perfect nostalgic love story that warms the heart. The visual style highlights the band’s Mexaican roots and LA culture to the fullest.
