James Yancey (1974 – 2006) R.I.P

To add our 2 cents to the great life of the late great J Dilla….we’ve decided to put up our top 7 songs from the master beat maker…a quick listing for your pleasure, and it helps to remember how much of a genius this man was.

Why 7 you ask?!….well we just couldn’t decide what tracks to take out of this bunch…we had to stop going through them too…and just stick with this ones.

I am still amazed about how much this one man contributed to HIPHOP….it’s surprising how many tracks I still find that I’ve always loved…only to find that was produced by Jay Dee.
