Swiss band Polarbæren are breaking the rules and charting new territories with their style of music. Blending hard rock sensibilities with modern improv jazz, soul and a dash of alternative hip-hop swag, the band bring a refreshing take on live music. Their new release, “Espejito Espejito,” which translates to Mirror in Spanish, is a 7-minute-long medley featuring rapper/songwriter La Nefera. The track starts with La Nefera’s commanding vocals that find her embodying the spirit of Nefertiti. The track proceeds into a mix of punchy drums, soft keys and prevalent horns underpinned by La Nefera’s engulfing vocals and insightful bars that detail the power of feminine strength and resilience.

“Espejito Espejito” is taken from the band’s forthcoming album VISA. VISA will be released via Current Moves in June 2026 and will be toured across clubs and festivals throughout the year.
