Southern California hip hop artist/producer Ariano teams up with fellow SoCal emcee Self Provoked on this heartfelt single “Money Won’t Buy You Angels” that sees both acts deep in thought. Over a moody, laid-back backdrop courtesy of Evidence (of Dilated Peoples fame), Ariano looks at how the intrinsic attribute of having money changes depending on the circumstance. Self Provoked gives her own perspective on the situation when she spits “…Many find comfort in prayer, others find it in a 5th…” . In this lockdown era, life, as we know it is quite different, and human behavior, has drastically been altered and how we view the world will never be the same.
“Money Won’t Buy You Angels” is taken from Ariano’s latest project America The Anxious, which he produced and recorded in one week during the COVID-19 pandemic.
