Fly Anakin returns to us with new material after a run of live shows in the UK. The Richmond rapper has released his debut studio LP, Frank via Lex Records and he is also sharing a video for the unheard track, “Class Clown”. The video was directed by Jay Green and it is a kaleidoscopic presentation of Fly Anakin on a frigid night time drive through London town.

This new body of work includes his previously released singles and also boldly shows off Anakin as a talented artist, songwriter and a gifted rapper. You will find him drawing a lot of inspiration from R&B and Soul music his dad played for him in his early years as a young boy. This basically tells you that Fly Anakin experimented quite a bit with this project.

Just so you are aware, Fly Anakin has been cosigned by heavyweights in the industry to the inclusion of Madlib and he has also worked with the likes of Freddie Gibbs and Evidence of Dilated Peoples. You can go listen to the track on Spotify to help him run up the numbers.
