London, UK producer Akhavelli steps out with his new single “Haqq Pulse,” a hard-hitting piece that blends the edginess of 90s boombap with thematic textures and obscure samples pulled from Egypt and Turkey. From the jump, Akhavelli sets the tone with the progressive and dynamic movement of his music. The drums hit hard and help drive the motion, while the cinematic string and ominous vocal samples add emotional impact on the ambiance. Alongside all this, the producer also delivers excellent turntablism, with superb scratches that draw on samples from a handful of rap legends.

“Haqq Pulse” is the second single from Akhavelli’s upcoming debut album Moorthodox Psyence.
