The duo who go by  Young Black and Gifted is back on the field with a brand new cut titled “Cutthroat Game.” A reflective song that shares uplifting messages and heartfelt lyrics needed for these uncertain times. Helmed by emcee Azariah who blends a smooth mix of street bravado and insightful elements over the solemn piano-driven backdrop courtesy of  producer Kidd Called Quest with additional production from The Create League.

Azariah kicks it off with a passionate flow that exudes uber-confidence and resilience in his demeanor. He lets the listener know that he is not the type to fold in the face of adversity and he is going to do all he can to make things pan out the way it should. While the backdrop has a solemn, mellow vibe, Azariah stays spirited throughout the song and drops jewels so the listeners can have something to latch on to in these crazy times. In his own words, he is never taking anything for granted and following your own gut in life.

“Cutthroat Game” is another taste of Young Black And Gifted’s forthcoming album, The Second Coming to drop shortly. Two other tracks from the album were also recently released as advance singles “Warfare” and “For The Glory”
