The Anaheim-based live genre-bending band that goes by the moniker Weapons of Mass Creation is pushing their distinct style that takes elements from hip-hop, funk, soul, cumbia and even reggaetón. The band is made up of Franco siblings Jacob (bass/vocals), Crudo (keyboards/producer), Moe Budda (drums/emcee/producer) Luis (guitar/vocals), Silas (saxophone/vocals), Joules (emcee/ vocals) and Quiñonez brothers Soli (emcee), EQ (emcee) and newest addition to the family, Hiiku (production, synths).

Their latest release “Hand Me Downs”, is a splendid summer-tinged funk-hip-hop track with lounge stylings. The layered production is rich in sounds ranging from funky guitar riffs, thick pulsating basslines, head-nodding rhythms and lush textures to boot. On the vocals, listeners are treated to a mix of ear-grabbing melodic runs and unapologetic raps that blend together like white on rice.
