“Richard” is the newest collaboration between up-and-coming artists Patrón and Trusler who display their distinct rap styles over the ominous and menacing drill backdrop provided by Suffolk engineer/ beatmaker, J Seph. The result is a hard-hitting track that pairs US-born emcee Patrón and Suffolk, UK rapper Trusler for a lyrical tandem. Patrón starts the track with the chorus followed by Trusler fiery verse and another solid verse from Patrón.
Patron was born in Miami, Florida, raised in Rochester, New York, and is now based in Suffolk, UK. While working alongside a combination of US and UK based creatives, he has been releasing music commercially since 2020.
Patron’s musical versatility and deep appreciation for a variety of styles blur genre lines within his music. As a newcomer to the UK music scene, Patron is no stranger to the lineage of UK MC culture, since being mesmerized by Giggs’ Talking the Hardest and meeting Krept and Konan in Cambridge back in 2013.
