We are still dedicated to showcasing the best tracks/videos from the underground by searching far and wide in order to bring you our weekly list. It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Now that is what we call dedication, so sit back relax and get familiar with these acts.

LuDow – Just Rap
Rising Cambridge, MA-based rapper who goes by the moniker LuDow helps jump start this week’s Top 10 Submissions. His new track “Just Rap” is a piano-driven track that sees the young rapper taking it back to the essence with relatable lyrics and an outgoing demeanor. He takes some time and talks about his personal life and then some on the track.
Mike SB – Tellin Em
Mike SB returns to this week’s list with a new cut “Tellin Em”, letting his listeners know what he has been up to. The record details everything Mike SB has experienced since he got in the game and then some. He shares his frustrations and most of all hopes for everyone to tune into. Once again he teams up with his longtime collaborator producer P.SOUL on this record.
Thee Phantom – Nothing’s Changed.
Multi-talented rapper/producer Thee Phantom delivers a heartfelt record titled “Nothing’s changed” which features the smooth vocals of singer Micah. The song tells a familiar story of how people ignore you when you are an unknown artist and how it all changes when they see that you are on the rise.
FYI: On November 1, 2015, Thee Phantom backed by a 25 piece ensemble, took to the stage at the famed Carnegie Hall, becoming just the 3rd Hip-Hop Artist to headline his own show at the esteemed venue. In 2016, the ensemble packed 3,000 attendees into the Kennedy Center in DC, which resulted in an invite to the White House for one of President Obama’s final Holiday Parties.
Sean Gast – The Vision
RnB act Sean Gast‘s record “The Vision” makes for a good addition to the list with it’s lush soundscape and overall energy. The singer/songwriter/dancer is slowly making his way up the ranks of his peers with his expressive vocal style and unique blend of RnB/soul and hip-hop. “The Vision” is taken from his recently released “Good Company” album.
astralblak – Keep It Movin.
Electro-soul collective Astralblak return with their new single titled “Keep It Movin”. The song showcases the collective’s soul-driven experimental style of music that deals with personal struggles and everything that comes with the territory. Hit the play button and get familiar.
Indian Trap – “Trapped”
UK based, Indian producer who goes by the moniker Indian Trap delivers an energetic record titled “trapped” to the list. He teamed up with female rapper KresZenia and R&B artist Chris Scholar for this one. KresZenia comes through a confident performance as Scholar laces the hook with an autotuned loaded approach.
Bagz – Vibes (featuring Moelogo).
Fast-rising East London rapper BAGZ returns with another summer tinged record titled “Vibes” which featuredSouth London singing sensation and MOBO Award nominee MOELOGO. The fun-filled record receives the visual treatment courtesy of director Andrew Moss (Yxng Fume, Mista Silva, SL) who helps bring back the summer vibes with colorful and vibrant aesthetics.
Tamu Massif – Senses.
Bristol-based songwriter and producer Tamu Massif brings a smooth touch to the list with this unorthodox record he calls “senses”. Over an atmospheric, surreal soundscape Massif dwells on anger but delivered the emotion in a very laid-back manner which makes for an interesting listen. “Senses” is the first single to come from his own debut album (due 2019).
Tamu Massif is headlining Zed Alley at Simple Things Festival this weekend as well as playing Gwdihŵ Café as part of Swn.

Dave Fields – FLEX (OFF MY MIND)
Vancouver-based rapper and producer Dave Fields (aka FONTANE) comes through with a hard-hitting, trap-infused jam titled “FLEX (OFF MY MIND)”. The self-produced 808-laden track serves as the perfect backdrop for Field’s energetic performance.
Penn – Ready.Set.Go.
Penn closes the list with an energetic visual for his vibrant record “Ready.Set.Go”. The BrosClem produced record showcases Penn’s fiery lyrics and storytelling skills. The visual (shot by Angel of Music Productions )plays out like a movie and dwells on a heist. Hit the play button and get familiar.
BONUS CUTS
Jessie G – Around the Block.
South Carolina’s native Jessie G wraps up this list with an energetic track titled “Around The Block”. Teaming up with producer Jesse Shirts who crafts a vibrant, trap-infused backdrop, Jessie goes to town on the beat with a raw performance that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
BIO: One of the founders of Spartanburg SC’s Dirty-Burg-Entertainment (D.B.E.) Jessie has been one of the faces of Spartanburg’s recent resurgence of rap music. For several years now, his collective have been everywhere in the upstate from radio, and tv, to festival appearances and even to Atlanta. He is currently back in South Carolina where he landed a Chief Recording Engineer position at Speaklife Studio.
Fabian Secon – Run Away
Before we go UK artist Fabian Secon dropped his brand new single “Run Away” and it was only right to include it here for its raw honesty and captivating expressive vocal performance. The heartfelt song was both written and produced by Fabian and continues his unique brand of emo/alternative R&B with hip-hop influences.
Speaking on the track, Fabian says: “‘Run Away’ is about people needing an escape from their environment and seeking change from their troubles. It has a haunting feel to it and a raw sounding instrumental.”
