So in the same vein, this weekly list sheds light on budding and even established producers who continue to push the envelope for the culture. So sit back relax and get familiar with these producers.

Warren Jekyll- Already

We kick off this weekend list with a loose remix of Drake’s “The Language” by producer Warren Jekyll. The vibe here is quirky and somewhat offbeat for reasons known to the producer alone. It’s unique and we reckon it makes for a good way to start the list.

 

 

dopeman – Better Days.

“Better Days” by producer Dopeman is a solid entry that taps into the nostalgic side of our emotions. He blends Lo-Fi elements with laid back synths and vocal samples to bring it back home.

1-800-lost – clara.

 

This producer’s name has to be the most unique we have heard thus far. Going by 1-800-lost, the producer sure brings some interesting vibes with his new track titled “Clara”. Blending reflective bells, mellow strings and a playful vocal hum, the track sure sounds solid from start to finish.

NAIVE – No Shuffle.

 

South Cali based producer NAIVE shares his new track “No Shuffle” on our list. The track has a reflective, solemn vibe with a cinematic atmosphere.
He further adds “My style or sound is definitely different from the majority of beatmakers, and I think that is what makes it special. Every time I listen to a new artist, I want to experience something I haven’t before”

 

 

 

 

Kodiak Soul – Farfalla.

Charlotte,  North Carolina producer Kodiak Soul makes his debut on our top 10 instrumental list with his new beat titled “Farfalla”. He blends hip-hop and electronic music on this record but most importantly he gives it a unique spin with added instrumentation. The beat is reflective and somber and will definitely draw the listeners in slowly.

 

 

 

 

YIWU – We’re Gonna Have a Good Time.

Toronto based producer YIWU (originally from China) delivers some body moving vibes with his new release titled “We’re Gonna Have a Good Time”. he takes the listener on a ride of summery proportions with his bright, lush textures and a mantra-like vocal chant that pervades throughout the beat.
He further states that “The song is devoted to the art of moving butts and all the cool people around me, combined with the Hip hop, Alternative R&B, and Tropical House groove altogether.”

 

 

 

 

David North – Back To The Sea.

David North is a multi-instrumentalist from Perth who started his professional music career in the band Jake and the Cowboys as the bassist/keyboardist. Now on a solo run he shares with us his new instrumental titled “Back To The Sea”. The beat is a laid-back lo-fi track that is suited for easy listening and its built with soothing guitars layered with ethereal sounds. He also added a snippet from JFK’s speech about how we are “tied to the ocean”.

Strong Maurice – work for it.

Producer/multi-instrumentalist from Australia who goes by the moniker Strong Maurice shares his new material titled “work for it”. He blends a laid back lo-fi guitar riff with solemn keys which culminate in a very reflective beat This song is a reflective piece about being lost and working your way out.

Valasse Eruva – Quantum Entanglement.

Instrumentalist/record label owner Valasse Eruva drops the visual for his song “Quantum Entanglement”. A layered mind gripping instrumental that sounds like something out of a retro sci-fi flick. It’s nothing like you have heard before. He further adds “…Only the universe itself knows the secrets behind quantum entanglement; a connection without limits, affecting each other even when separated by an insurmountable distance. …”

Brad Kemp – Over You.

Chi-town producer Brad Kemp‘s newest release “Over You” showcases his multi-genre style of production. Blending lo-fi sensibilities, jazz-infused songs laced over classic hip-hop elements, Kemp goes beyond the usual to bring us a solid piece of art. “Over You” is dreamy, ethereal and neck snapping all at once. Brad is also 1/3 of Comedy Rap trio, Handsome Naked. He loves the Packers, his dog Frankie, and his incredible, supporting wife.
