DYVN – “Copenhagen”

David Nilles aka DVYN set it off with a retro-tinged beat titled “Copenhagen”. Like the title says, he made the beat in the famous city but he actually finished it back in his home in Berlin. The multi-instrumentalist really goes for a wide variety of sounds here ranging from jazz, downtempo and chillhop vibes. Hit the play button and enjoy it.

Budding producer Nu Vintage shares a reflective tune in the form of his new beat titled “Venice Beach”. A summer-tinged beat that is inspired by, you guessed it, the famous Venice Beach. It is very smooth, alluring and groovy from start to finish. Nu Vintage says he and Ramoz Beats worked on “Venice Beach” together.

CAURAL – “SANZA ECLIPSE”

Caural‘s “Sanza Eclipse” is the fourth official release on the consistently forward-thinking Strange Neighbor label. The beat is a potpourri of sounds and off-kilter elements that evoke a very ominous and cinematic feeling. The multi-instrumentalist leaves no stone unturned as he keeps the dynamics varied and unhinged from start to finish.

The ‘Ceiba’ EP will be available as a digital download and as a strictly limited art object release by Chrome Yellow studio. The limited-edition includes the Chrome Yellow visual projects on super 8 film, a print featuring photography by Theo Jemison and a full digital copy of the audiovisual release, all housed in a custom film canister. ‘Ceiba’ is now available via Strange Neighbor distributed by Fat Beats.

Handbook – “All Kinds Of You”

UK producer Handbook is back with another gem titled “All Kinds of you”. A smooth aural journey that is both reflective and soulful. He brings the hard-hitting boombap drums on this while the overall emotional punch is maintained from start to finish. “All Kinds Of You” marks his second release via Stereofox Records and is nothing, but a stellar and emotional journey into the world of instrumental hip hop music.

“The vibe I wanted on this track had to incorporate all things you would associate with a Handbook beat. It had to have big, punchy drums; it had to have the warm bass; it had to have the dusty samples, but mostly it had to ooze positivity and nostalgic feels. Here it is!

Jai Freedom – “LADYBUG”

Jai Freedom‘s new contribution to the list is a smooth, laid back joint aptly titled “LADYBUG”. Feels like a 90s RnB/hip-hop track if you asked me but it sure packs a whole lot of punches behind it.
