Bolstered by dark orchestral strings and booming angelic vocals layered over downtempo drums, Tay Toe puts himself in the shoes of his friend who puts his life on the line as he steps into the ring to defend his honour. Lines like “I’m selling out these stadiums and writing my own narrative/I have to lead my team, man, that feeling’s so imperative/Cuz I gotta do my thing and I do not have a care to give/You can catch me in the ring, get your tickets, grab a seat” underscores the go-getter theme and the resilience it takes to be a winner.
The song will also be Justin Horsley’s walk-out song for his fight on Saturday, November 16th, in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the Mountain America Center.
