MCPHRSN‘s “Melt” is a brooding and dark track built on moody piano synths and pads laid over downtempo drums with reverberating snare drums. The track also has some engaging sound design that evokes suspense and urgency.  “Hello, World!” is a soulful and reflective track from Steve Nguyen, who brings the warmth of contemporary pop with soulful elements. The guitar licks are prominent and lush, while the mellow pads and keys add that extra melodic oomph to the bounce. Nick Marks taps into his improv jazz spirit with “Good News,” a plucky beat with layered synths, pulsating basslines and scenic brass arrangements that feel like the montage of an ’80s TV show. Soulone Beats takes us on an emotional journey with “Sol,” a smooth guitar-laden lofi-soul piece comprising cinematic strings and warm pads. Kubuch‘s “Eden” is a blissful lofi piece that is perfect for your motivational playlist. The track boasts soft melodic tones with engaging sound design. James Hunter Crossley and Bobay Beats team up for”Ripples of Stillness,” a beat that has ethereal textures and evokes nostalgia and bittersweet memories. “Between Stops” is a collaborative track brought to us by Leavs and Beatmology. Together, they deliver a smooth soul/hip-hop infused jam that is perfect for singers and rappers. Tokyo Dust Beats heads back to the past with “1983 Smooth,” a warm and relaxing track underpinned by lush guitar licks, soft tones, scenic string riffs and a solid groove. BugigangaZ steps into this week’s playlist with “Waiting for,” a chilled lofi-hiphop jam with plucky guitars, warm pads and a head nodding drum, while “Still Moving Somewhere” brings together musical trio Lowbounty, Ignabeats, and Tech Difficulties for a brilliant collaboration that captures the power of nostalgia with summertime vibes. Shane Houghtaling takes us into the dark with “Shadow.” The aptly titled track is brooding and ominous, but the icing on the cake is the progressive approach and engulfing chord changes. We head to Rosario, Argentina, with the assistance of Gianni and 404beats, two prolific music producers who team up to craft this beautiful piece titled “Roma.” The track has a mellow and slow-paced drum groove with a soul-stirring piano riff, ethereal textures and soft horns that evoke memories of the past.
