Tay Toe connects with HunnaV on this new single “Stand on Money.” Over a solemn backdrop comprising moody piano chords, soothing melodic vocal chops and punchy drums, Tay Toe reflect on life and the ups and downs that come with it. From fairweather friends, loss and the sacrifices he took to find his path in a cold world. Lines like “All these hard nights can’t prepare me for this/I was working long nights so that I could be rich/Stand on money all the time but it’s you that I miss/I could have the whole world but not the things I can’t fix” underpin the overall reflective premise. HunnaV then enters the fray with a sublime melodic chorus with heartfelt lyrics.
