Taurean Meacham thrills us with some new songs from his stash as the week run to a close.

The first cut “Hands in the Sky” is inspired by the numerous unarmed African-Americans killed by the police. Backed by a solemn, reflective backdrop, Meacham shares an all too familiar tale on the way cops carry out extra judicial killings especially on black folks.

The second cut he delivers is titled “The Girl From Mililani,” a solemn laid back song that dives into personal loss and love.
