“Cold Nights” is the newest release from Independent German producer Eifelgangsta and UK/Nigerian rapper LuGhz. The duo have been working together for a while now and continues to serve the scene with that good old traditional boombap hip-hop with modern cinematic feel and hard-nosed gritty raps. The track produced by Eifelgangsta has a menacing and brooding atmosphere and forms the perfect backdrop for LuGhz’s graphic storytelling style. On here, he doesn’t mince his words and goes for the jugular with lines like

“not the one who raps the one that be choking ya breath,
Took a couple of steps, to make a couple of cheques,
been a lil more careful ran a couple of checks,
prices up, forty grand plus the charges is sick/
p***y stinking like a meth burnt plastics and shit.”

Overall, “Cold Nights” is a raw showcase of lyricism over thumping hip-hop beats, and we recommend it.
