Sojourn (of legendary Tunnel Rats fame) links up with legendary west coast lyricist Ras Kass on this fantastic jam titled “Basement Boogie “. Sojourn effortlessly flows and floats over Courtland Urbano‘s mix of screw faced percussion and grungy bass line. Both emcees deliver that good old bravado-filled style and the wordplay don’t end until after you hit the stop button. Ras Kass ethers the third and final verse complete with references to his alkaline spine and Egyptian sky god Horus. DJ Idull also comes through on the hook with some excellent cuts.
