Legendary emcee Sadat X of Brand Nubian fame returns to the forefront with his new single/video “F.N.T.G.” which sees him in rare form. Bolstered by GiveEmSoul’s soulful production (real heads would recognize the sample), Sadat X proceeds to drop a ton of knowledge, wisdom plus understanding on wax. Armed with his characteristic off-beat flow and off-kilter rhyme patterns, Da God imparts us with more than a handful of life lessons to start off our day while imploring the youths to eschew all types of negativity.
The video was shot in Harlem NYC by Teffthechaser who captures the scenery in his own way while blending in Sadat X’s laidback OG performance style in all its glory.
“GiveEmSoul” is the title track from Sadat’s forthcoming LP. The album (executive produced by Doughnetworkz) features production work almost entirely by GiveEmSoul with additional production courtesy of Khrysis (Justus League) and Roc Marciano.
