Rxtherapper has been doing his thing for a minute now from putting out singles, videos, and solo projects. Having worked with rap luminaries such as Kxng Crooked, Twista, Spice 1, and appearing on the Netflix Documentary “CRACK IN THE SYSTEM” Soundtrack with his single “Icon” the man hasn’t stopped for gas. He recently caught our attention with a handful of songs and videos from his stash so let’s get right into it.
The first cut on deck is the upbeat track titled “UNO” which sees him teaming up with Bay legend San Quinn. The duo delivers vibrant and impassioned flows over a bouncy west-coast infused banger and share with the listeners their hustling mentality and a whole lot of bravado-laced lyrics to match. “UNO” is taken from RX’s EP Life after life.

“I Know” is a heartfelt and reflective track that sees RX diving deep into his inner demons and slowly taking them out. The track has a chilled, jazz-infused vibe that fits RX’s carefree but emotion-laden flow that showcases his versatility and vulnerability. He really gives the listener a profound look into his personal issues ranging from depression, addiction, and more and reveals quite an interesting side to his persona. “I Know” is taken from his album The Elixir Presented by BOK ENTERTAINMENT.

The final cut here is titled “Just For Today” and it’s another somber, reflective track that sees RX dealing with personal loss and trauma. Over a moody and punchy backdrop, he opens up on his past and how he continues to push through a supposed to drowning in his sorrows. He talks a bit about his mother committing suicide and the domino effects it had on him and over the years, he found a way to channel the pain into bright moments while slowly healing.
The song is a good way to end and gives us a somewhat rounded view of the man called RXtherapper.
