Brooklyn, New York-based emcee Rah Cashiano returns with a pair of releases from his stash.

His single “Toxic” is a heartfelt and sultry tune that sees him teaming up with vocalist Wela Vargas and together they deliver something refreshing. Over a punchy backdrop made up of warm textures and vocal samples from a classic Lloyd song. Rah pens a vivid tale about a toxic relationship and all the good parts. Wela peppers the track with her honeyed vocal runs and heartfelt lyrics as well.

The accompanying visual is as cinematic as they come and it’s ripe with engaging storyboarding and set pieces that match the lyrics in the song.
