Toronto (by way of Australia) based emcee Notion drops his lead single titled “Gladiator” alongside Prince Albert, Saskatchewan MC Mer. The cinematic single singles the beginning of a new era as Notion is prepared to drop new material(videos included) in the coming months.
Rolling snares and horn samples provide the backdrop for an avalanche of bars from the two wordsmiths, with some dirty cuts courtesy of Toronto’s Digital Junkie.
Twenty seventeen is looking to be the year the world truly gets to know Notion. The lead video from his debut project “Heart On My Sleeve” drops next month, and in the meanwhile he’s back to warm y’all up a little for the release.
On a recent trip out to for a beat camp with fellow producer Rayne Drop, Notion hit the booth with SK MC Mer and the result was “Gladiator“.
