New York-based Kingston-raised MC Nomad Carlos teams up with producer  Inztinkz for this beautiful collaborative body of work titled Blxvk Desert. The 7 track EP is produced entirely by Inztinkz who laces Carlos with dark, cinematic backdrops that complement the vivid stories that accompany the rapper. In his characteristic mellow style, Carlos takes time to detail his upbringing in Kingston and draws the listener closer to the action. From the ominous vibes of “Crhyme” to the reflective “WWW”, we get a pretty graphic image of the mean streets. In a nutshell, the project serves as a tour guide through parts of Jamaica not usually shown, where the outlook can be bleak and the lifestyle is grim. The features are limited to just Falcon Outlaw and The Sickest Drama.

Blxvk Desert is the second EP in 2019 from Nomad Carlos who released Cipher with Farma Beats earlier in May.
