Nitecap is a Denver-based quartet comprising Adam Deitch (Lettuce, Break Science), Josh Fairman (SunSquabi, Analog Son), Ian Gilley (DIASTRATA, Flamingosis Live Band), and Drew Birch (DIASTRATA, Flamingosis Live Band), a collection of seasoned musicians. The latest release “Long Haul” is c collaboration with Award-Winning Vocalist Jarrod Lawson and the result is a smooth jazz-soul piece that explores the power of love and its enduring nature. Over soft and soul-stirring pads, head-nodding grooves, and rich guitar licks, Jarrod Lawson delivers a sublime performance ripe with uplifting lines like
“No matter how many times we fall
I’m here for the long haul
And if ever we lose our way
Just gotta come back to home base”
which underscores the undying love for that special someone.
The band is set to release their debut album on April 4, 2025, via Perception Records, Nitecap delivers a fresh, forward-thinking sound that reflects the collective artistry of its members. “We’re proud of this record,” says Deitch. “Fans of deep grooves and soulful, innovative music are in for something special.”
