Toronto producer MXU is back with a brand new single titled “Real Life.”  The soulful cut is a collaborative effort with emerging vocalists Nu Lighter (from North Carolina) and LA-based Britney Jayy.

For the soundscape, MXU lays out a moody and somewhat dark canvas for the singers to deliver their melodic tunes. He doesn’t go for the norm and uses a mix of electronica elements with RnB/soul sensibilities to make the track stand out. As for the vocalist, both Nu Lighter and Jayy play off each other’s strengths as they perform their parts in tandem showcasing the organic feel and undeniable chemistry between them. The duo tells a story of two individuals who fell in love online and are hoping to turn the virtual crush to real life.
