As the title suggests, this album is about a return to and reflection on the entire cycle of life. The recording for Sankofa began in November of 2009 and the project wasn’t complete until November of this year. The album features guest appearances from Namibian Soul star Shishani and Eric Ian Farmer, a North Carolina vocalist of incredible range and prior G-DO & Xception collaborator.
