Dom Deshawn takes time to reflect on all his troubles with a positive lens on his new single “Above Water.” He makes use D’Ariizt‘s moody and punchy backdrop to paint his verbal pictures filled with stress, juggling a 9 to 5 and more. He sure is far from being downtrodden and he shares a more optimistic and uplifting perspective. Also joining him on the song is Cleveland vocalist WesWill whose soulful hook helps bolster the reflective sentiments of the song.
