Danny G & the Major 7ths share their single “When It All Runs Out” which serves as their first release for the year 2021. The song is inspired by lead singer Danny’s visit to Venezuela and the myriad of things he experienced there. From seeing how rich and beautiful the country is to how the impoverished population is on the rise. He wrote the song to reflect on these issues where world leaders are fighting for the wrong things leaving millions of people in ruins.

The track is quite alluring and inspiring as well. The progression is smooth and the chorus is catchy while leaving us with a message of hope and reflection.

The visuals capture different sights of the rich country and shows us how there is always two sides to the same coin. The visuals also makes use of clips from Ruben Sevilla and online public videos to tie everything nicely.

“When It All Runs Out” is taken from their sophomore album The Lookout which was recently released. It is available on limited edition yellow vinyl through BandcampThis album is a natural progression from the retro soul feel of debut Love Joints (2014) to a deeper, more mature, richer sound, evoking the classic neosoul artists of the 2000s.
