ICE Borealis is a 19 year old rapper and producer out of Madison, WI. In this song “Change“, produced by Fuego, off his debut project Melancholy EPavailable on Soundcloud, his aim is to motivate people to cut off all negative energy from life and pursue happiness. A hopeful, but yet dark, track filled with dense raps and soulful melodies about trials and tribulations, friendships, family, and the struggle of being an artist trying to get heard. Shot by ATM Visuals, the music video is reflective of ICE’s melancholic vibe and his city’s gloomy ambience.

About:

There’s a lot of stuff about ICE that the naked eye can’t see. He was born in Catania, Sicily where he was raised mainly by his mother and grandmother till the age of 11 when he moved to America in search for a better life and to live with his father, whom he mainly had a long-distance relationship with. Such a dramatic shift for a young kid was disorienting and stressful, after all he didn’t know anybody or speak any English. If you talk to him now, you wouldn’t guess its his second language. He recalls being very emotional and anti-social both at school and home which made him turn to music as an outlet. Before discovering Hip-Hop, he played the piano by ear and had an interest in drums. Then he found out about FL Studio and started his career in rap as a self-taught producer till shortly after when he started writing lyrics
