“In Nights in the City”, Billa Joints fuses a melodic Fender Rhodes with vintage Dilla-esque lo-fi elements to create two minutes of dreamy chill-hop. The mellow track has a soulful, reflective feel that keeps you engaged from start to finish.  The track and its title were inspired by the vibrant nightlife of New York City where you can meet new people and discover new places on a nightly basis. In July of 2018, Billa Joints moved to New York to take part in its dynamic music scene and culture. “Nights in the City” is his sophomore single in 2019.

Last September, Billa Joints released Fire & Ice to kick off his “12 for 12” series—a musical challenge where he’ll be dropping a new single on the 12th day of each month.
