After dropping “Getting Played” which looked at love, Geno Five returns with 2 more gems for our listening pleasure. The first one “(Never) Going Back” sees the young mc letting us know how he has outgrown many things and people in his life. He does it in an unapologetic manner too as he explains his situation and whoever cannot deal with it might need to move on as well.

The second track titled “Gettin’ Hurt.” has a more soulful, solemn feel and dwells on the dynamics that occur in relationships. The moment when the individuals involved start to grow apart and live according to their terms becomes visible but underneath resentment builds. It’s quite interesting and everyone who has been in a relationship can relate to it on many levels.
